I had the pleasure of being a part of the Thomas & Friends DLC for TSW 5. I was responsible for the rigging, skinning and animations for Sir Tophamhatt as well as the eyes for all 4 trains. I think all involved on the project achieved something truly special.

These are teh character animations made for sir tophamhatt in the DLC for Train sim world 5. The character was completely different from the other NPCs in game, and there fore needed a custom made rig and skinning, i used this opportunity to implement a face rig. The end result is a more cinematic ready character

This is a personal project I have running in the background atm, bit rough around the edges, and the face and tail are still being actively worked on.

A friend sent me a video of them boxing and I used it to create this jabbing animation.

In this DLC I was given the freedom to work on the things I thought were missing in the games animations. one of the first things I wanted to add to were the onboard train seated animations, as all the characters sat in exactly the same position, which looked uniform and un-natural. Adding some chaos to this with the type of train connected to this DLC really did make a huge difference. I also created other dioramas such as laptop typing, watching films on a phone, phone scrolling, couples dioramas (both M/F, F/F & M/M). I also got to implement accessories such as Backpacks, laptops, glasses, Earphones and headphones & tablets. All of this together made a massive difference to the passenger variety on the platforms that both my collages and the beta testers praised. I hope the players like it as much as we do

Here's some of the animations I did for Train Sim World 4 running in the game. These include the new metahuman rig & legacy humanIK character rigs.

This is the duffle bag walk cycle that the engine applies to some of the NPCs in-game. The system also randomizes the bag's colour and type; there are two variants of the duffle bag: large and medium-sized. This animation was derived from a motion-capture walk cycle as a base.
